Our Pillars

  • Rehnumai works to shift societal perceptions, promote inclusive policies, and build understanding of disability rights at individual, community and institutional levels
  • Shanakht focuses on facilitating and increasing access to acquire Special Computerized National Identity Cards (SCNICs), reducing the processing time from 12 weeks to just 1 day.
  • Hunar focuses on providing the PWDs with market-relevant vocational training that builds their skill set
  • Rozgar promotes economic inclusion through job placement and strengthens organizational capacity via accessibility audits, sensitization, and disability champions.
  • Falah ensures access to essential resources and services, this pillar supports PWDs through assistive devices such as wheelchairs, white canes and hearing aids. These assistive devices open new pathways for independence, mobility, and inclusion in everyday life. Beyond this, Falah also provides ration support during disasters and emergencies, and offers rehabilitation services and therapies for children with neurodiverse needs.
  • Taleem works to make primary education accessible for children with disabilities through quality, special and inclusive learning environments that offer holistic development with therapies. NOWPDP provides free transport and school meals, ensuring every child can learn and grow without financial barriers.
  • Khudmukhtari focuses on enabling financial independence for PWDs through self-employment opportunities including entrepreneurship training. Flagship initiatives such as The Rickshaw Project , revolves around the retrofitting of rickshaws such that control and usage is brought to the hands of persons with lower limb disabilities, enabling them to earn livelihoods through transport and delivery services. We also support PWDs in establishing their own small businesses, including food carts and other micro-enterprises.
