The ZWEE Foundation, founded and led by Sister Zeph—the first Pakistani to win the Global Teachers Prize—has dedicated 27 years to uplifting disadvantaged women and children. The foundation’s core initiatives include:
- Providing Quality Education: Committed to delivering 100% free, high-quality education, the foundation empowers children who lack access to proper schooling, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills for a brighter future.
- Empowering Women: Focused on women’s empowerment, the foundation offers vocational training and resources to promote self-sufficiency, helping women in rural areas achieve economic independence and improve their quality of life.
- Supporting Widows: The foundation provides financial assistance to widows, offering immediate relief and fostering long-term stability.
Through these comprehensive initiatives, the ZWEE Foundation has educated 3,000 children and empowered over 6,000 women through free education and vocational training. The foundation’s community engagement programs have transformed over 50,000 lives in the past two decades.
Next Goal: Sister Zeph envisions creating a state-of-the-art school on ten acres for disadvantaged children, providing them with the same facilities as elite-class students. She believes that where there is opportunity, there is success.
