Established in 1949 and registered in 1950 under the Trust Act of 1882, as a not-for-profit school by the late, great humanitarian, Mrs. Nasra Wazir Ali (S.I.), the Education Trust Nasra School (ETNS) started from a mere two rooms in Mrs. Nasra Wazir Ali’s (S.I.) own home in 1949 after Independence from British India out of the sheer necessity to accommodate for the lack of educational facilities in the neighborhood. Today, Nasra School has impressively grown to encompass five large purpose-built campuses, each one carrying out Mrs. Nasra Wazir Ali’s (S.I.) mission- to provide affordable, high-quality education to the children of underserved communities, in an effort to bridge the education and gender gaps prevalent in Pakistan.
Over the last seven decades, Nasra Schools have been providing English-medium coeducation that follows the government approved curriculum; to more than 9,000 students from religiously diverse multilingual and multiethnic backgrounds in some of the most densely populated areas in the city of Karachi. Each campus is fully equipped with modern facilities to ensure that our students are provided a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment conducive to achieving maximum academic as well as personal growth. Our up-to-date facilities include libraries, science and computer labs to enhance the experience of a holistic education for all.
Furthermore, Nasra School offers a vast range of engaging extracurricular activities such as; sports, music, drama, student leadership/ mentorship programs such as the Model United Nations as well as various cultural festivities to foster teamwork, inspire community spirit and encourage all-roundedness.
