What Makes Our Approach Distinct
Hisaar Foundation is not a conventional service-delivery organization. We are building the Water Architecture for Pakistan by connecting people, knowledge, research, institutions and innovation to drive action towards a water-secure future. Our community-centered model begins with a needs assessment and community mobilization, with local communities nominating caretakers to ensure ownership and accountability. We work through trusted local civil society organizations while retaining overall technical and operational oversight. This approach leverages local capacity, keeps implementation costs efficient, and enables strong quality control. It also allows us to provide donors with timely, transparent updates on project progress.
