Patel Hospital is a leading non-profit healthcare institution in Karachi, founded in 1999 by philanthropist Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Rehman (Mithu Patel). It offers specialized treatments, advanced diagnostics, and patient-centered care with a mission to make healthcare accessible to all. The Patel Foundation, which drives the hospital’s charitable work, is committed to community welfare, including free medical camps and financial assistance for those in need.

With a 250+ bed capacity, Patel Hospital provides state-of-the-art treatment in specialties such as oncology, cardiology, nephrology, surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ophthalmology, and emergency services. It operates with modern diagnostic facilities, including radiology, pathology, and an in-house pharmacy.
Commitment to the Community
Last year, Patel Hospital has treated over 575,000 patients, including 182,000 through its welfare programs funded by Zakat and donations. We provided 147,000 outpatient visits, 12,656 inpatient admissions, and 28,193 emergency treatments. Our hospital is also home to a stroke unit, burns unit, MRI technology, and various specialized surgical services.
