PATH Educational Society is a registered under Society’s Act 1860 and registered with the registrar of Joint Stock companies. Our accounts are audited every year and submitted to FBR. We have an NGO certification from FBR and Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy (PCP)
In 2004, Path Education Society (PES) set up Rahnuma Public School, in Azam Town/ Azam Basti Karachi, an extremely densely populated shanty town, close to the very affluent Defense Society Phase 1. The selection criteria for children is that they come from families with income of under Rs.30,000 a month approximately, and are willing to attend school regularly. Today, Alhamdullilah, the school has about 475 boys and girls, aged 4 to 18, in its primary and secondary school.
