What Makes Our Approach Distinct

Our model combines community-led engagement with structured search and recovery mechanisms for missing children. It emphasizes early reporting, rapid response coordination, and collaboration with law enforcement and local networks. Sustainability is built through volunteer participation, awareness campaigns, and partnerships that strengthen long-term prevention and response capacity. Innovation is reflected in the use of centralized reporting systems, data tracking, and outreach channels that improve speed and accuracy of case handling. Community ownership is central, enabling families and local stakeholders to actively participate in safeguarding children and supporting recovery efforts.

Impact Stories

With mixed emotions of relief and sorrow, we share the recovery of a 12-year-old girl from Karachi who was abducted in 2016 while returning from her aunt’s home. After years of sustained efforts and follow-up, the case reached a critical breakthrough when one of our volunteers received credible information indicating that the child was being held in an illegal human trafficking and exploitation network in Thatta.
Our team immediately verified the lead and coordinated with law enforcement authorities. We engaged senior police officials, including DIG East Amir Farooqui and the SSP Investigation, to support planning and execution of a targeted operation. As a result of this coordinated response, the child was safely recovered from Thatta and moved into protective care.
She has now been reunited with relevant support services, and the family is receiving assistance. A detailed investigation is ongoing to ensure accountability and prosecution of those involved. This case reflects the power of persistence, community vigilance, and strong police coordination.
