Support a Life-Changing Cause: Donate to Sindh Medical College Doctors Association

Since its establishment in 1994, the Sindh Medical College Doctors Association (Patients Welfare Society) has been dedicated to providing life-saving medical care to underprivileged communities across Pakistan. Founded by Dr. Amjad Gulzar Shaikh in 1988, alongside Dr. Waheed Akbar and other dedicated surgeons, our mission is to offer free surgeries and medical treatments to those in need, particularly in underserved rural areas.

We have performed hundreds of life-changing surgeries, including free hip and knee replacements, as well as corrective surgeries for lower extremity deformities like untreated clubfeet and contractures due to cerebral palsy. These surgeries not only improve mobility but enhance quality of life, providing patients the chance to stand, walk, and care for themselves with dignity.

All Surgeons volunteer their time and expertise. We are proud to provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for just $600 per patient, which includes all medical expenses, follow-up care, splinting, and physical therapy.

Your donation can help us continue this vital work.

By contributing, you directly support:

1. Free life-saving surgeries
2. Postoperative care, including physical therapy and cast changes, appropriate, splinting and orthotics for healing etc.
3. Access to high-quality care for underserved patients

We have No rental and extremely minimal administrative expenses, ensuring that your generous contributions go directly toward the patients who need it most. Every dollar you donate helps us bring hope and healing to those who would otherwise go without.

Join us in making a lasting difference. Donate today and change lives for the better.
