Sunshine Trust, established in 2004, envisions a world where every child, regardless of their social and economic background, has access to quality education. Our mission is to bridge the gap created by the deteriorating public-school education and the rising costs of private schooling. By focusing on contemporary, quality education for out-of-school children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower children to become productive and respected members of society.

Introduction to Sunshine School
Sunshine School, a proud project of Sunshine Trust, operates as a beacon of hope in the slums of Township Lahore. Established in 2004, the school offers English-medium education aligned with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), emphasizing science subjects. With facilities like a fully functional science laboratory, a digital learning center, and a modest-sized playground, the school is a haven for over 750 children who were previously denied access to formal education.
Achievements and Impact
Our efforts have borne remarkable results. Sunshine School has seen an enrollment increase from 150 to 750 students, with 70% of our students studying at no cost. We take pride in our academic achievements: 10% of our students consistently score above 95% in BISE exams, and all students pass their matriculation exams annually. Our commitment to promoting science and critical thinking has led many students to pursue successful professional careers. These achievements speak volumes about our impact on the community and the lives of the children we serve.
