Taskeen Health Initiative is a non-profit dedicated to promoting mental health and preventing mental illness for a happier and healthier Pakistan. Officially registered as a non-profit company in 2019, Taskeen has emerged as one of the country’s pioneering organizations leading the movement for mental wellbeing. In a nation where over 28 million people struggle in silence, Taskeen brings hope through free mental health support services, powerful awareness campaigns, community-based programs, and national-level advocacy.
So far, Taskeen has reached 40+ million people through awareness efforts, provided free-of-cost mental health support to 20,000+ individuals, reached 350,000+ people through community-based awareness interventions and played a pivotal role in the decriminalisation of suicide in Pakistan.

Taskeen works with government and civil society to build a fairer mental health system. From suicide decriminalization to national mental health policies, our advocacy is shaping long-lasting change for future generations.
Community
We integrate mental health care into schools, low-income neighborhoods, and primary healthcare centers, ensuring equitable access so that every individual regardless of background receives the support they need.
