The Kidney Centre Post Graduate Training Institute is a not-for-profit specialized hospital providing quality care to patients suffering from kidney disease. The Kidney Centre (TKC) opened its door to the public in 1985 with a small dialysis unit consisting of just two machines.
Today, TKC provides comprehensive quality renal care to patients suffering from kidney and bladder problems. It has 100 in-patient beds, operating theatres, and intensive care unit with ventilators for both adults and paediatrics, and a full range of Urological, Nephrological and Transplant services.
Patients suffering from kidney diseases are at risk of having other diseases as well, therefore the Centre also offers non-invasive Cardiology services as well as Gastroenterology services with Endoscopic facility. Consulting Clinics provide services in almost all specialties including nephrology, urology, transplant, cardiology, haematology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, diabetology, paediatrics, physiotherapy and nutrition.

TKC is a proverbial oasis of complete medical relief and treatment. The unprecedented support and spirit of the community has provided the hospital with a strong tradition of community service, maintaining standards of excellence and striving for future sustainability.
The welfare funds, so painstakingly collected, are disbursed by the Patient Welfare Department after careful scrutiny, compassionate consideration and appropriate discretion to help treat poor patients through various services and procedures. It is truly gratifying to note the ever growing number of patients who have been successfully treated as well as the enormous funds collected to meet this demand.
Zakat and Charity are collected throughout the year, such funds are maintained in separate accounts and are utilized solely for this noble purpose. Zakat/Charity/Donations are critical for the treatment of poor patients and are contributed by various sectors such as corporate bodies, individuals and Government grants.
Your contribution is vital for saving lives of deserving kidney people. All donation and Zakat will be spent on patient care of deserving patients in accordance with Sariah.
