The Kidney Centre Post Graduate Training Institute (TKC) is a not-for-profit specialized hospital dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients suffering from kidney disease. Since opening in 1985 with a modest two-machine dialysis unit, TKC has grown significantly and now offers comprehensive renal care. With 100 in-patient beds, operating theatres, an intensive care unit with ventilators for both adults and children, and a full range of Urological, Nephrological, and Transplant services, we are committed to improving the lives of those affected by kidney and bladder conditions.

Understanding that kidney disease often affects other organs, we also provide non-invasive cardiology services, as well as gastroenterology with endoscopic facilities. Our consulting clinics cover a wide range of specialties, including nephrology, urology, transplant, cardiology, pulmonology, hematology, gastroenterology, surgery, neurology, diabetology, pediatrics, physiotherapy, and nutrition.

TKC is truly a community project, built by the people, for the people. The unwavering support from the community has allowed us to uphold a strong tradition of excellence in patient care while ensuring future sustainability.

Every year, The Kidney Centre provides treatment to more than 100,000 needy patients, delivering compassionate care to those who need it most. This year, we project our welfare cost to go beyond PKR 900 million. Our Patient Welfare Department carefully distributes the welfare funds collected to treat underprivileged patients, covering various services and procedures. Zakat, charity, and donations are crucial to our mission, with funds maintained in separate accounts and used solely for patient care in line with Shariah principles. Contributions from individuals, corporations, and government grants are essential to saving the lives of those in need.
