The Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC), a non-profit organization established in 2005, is committed to the upliftment of marginalized communities across Pakistan, especially through the power of education.
Through our Education Support Program, PHC operates 17 primary schools in the remote and underserved Tharparkar region, providing free education to over 1,200 students with a ratio of 60% boys and 40% girls. For this, we are raising funds to provide these students with essential school supplies, including uniforms, shoes, bags, and stationery.
It costs just $50/child to equip them with these basic necessities, ensuring they attend school with confidence, pride, and the resources needed to succeed.
Additionally, under the same Education Program, PHC proudly runs the Scholarship Program, which supports 1,000 underprivileged female students every year. This initiative is both merit-based and need-based, empowering girls to pursue primary and secondary education in areas where educational opportunities for girls are severely limited.
Each scholarship costs $70, helping cover the educational expenses that often prevent girls from staying in school.
