Please note this fundraiser will support i-Care's partner Fatimid Foundation to achieve the stated objective.

Each year, approximately 5,000 children in Pakistan are born with Thalassemia Major, a life-threatening genetic blood disorder. According to the Punjab Thalassemia & Other Genetic Disorders Prevention & Research Institute, around 60,000 patients are registered in the country. With Pakistan’s population growing at 2% annually, the burden of genetic blood disorders continues to rise, highlighting an urgent need for prevention, treatment, and awareness.

For over four decades, Fatimid Foundation has been a lifeline for patients battling Thalassemia and Hemophilia. As Pakistan’s largest nonprofit providing voluntary blood banking and hematological services, we ensure lifesaving treatments for thousands of patients.

Our services include:

  • Blood Collection and Transfusion of Fully Screened Blood & Blood Products
  • Medical Consultancy & Specialized Care
  • Essential Medicines like Iron Chelation for Thalassemia and Dry Factors for Hemophilia
  • Nationwide Awareness Campaigns

With 10 centers across Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Hyderabad, Rashidabad, Khairpur, Quetta, Larkana & Tando Muhammad Khan, we provide continuous support to over 5,000 registered patients. Each year, we collect 55,000+ units of voluntary blood donations and transfuse 110,000+ blood & blood products—but we can’t do this alone.
