Since 1991, Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) has been committed to transforming lives by empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges. Our mission is to create pathways for inclusion by equipping individuals with disabilities with vocational skills, building their confidence, and enabling them to become contributing members of society.
At KVTC, the focus is not just on teaching skills but on unlocking potential, fostering independence, and promoting dignity through meaningful livelihood opportunities.

Project Focus: Training 10 Differently-Abled Individuals for Sustainable Livelihoods
The Challenge:
Differently abled individuals in Pakistan continue to face systemic barriers:
- Limited access to quality education and vocational training.
- Social stigma and a lack of awareness restrict opportunities.
- Inadequate inclusive infrastructure and assistive resources.
Key Objectives:
✔️ Vocational Training: Equip 100 differently-abled individuals annually with certified skills across 12 trades (recognized by STEVTA/SBTE).
✔️ Inclusion Advocacy: Engage over 500 community members through awareness workshops to dismantle stigma.
✔️ Corporate Partnerships: Collaborate with at least 12 inclusive employers to facilitate internships and sustainable job placements for our graduates.
Innovative Approach:
- AI-Integrated Training: Customized, hands-on vocational programs designed to cater to diverse disabilities.
- Community Mentorship: Establish peer-led support networks to ensure long-term empowerment.
Beneficiaries:
Direct (Annually):
- 10 differently-abled trainees per annum
- 50 community members and businesses through awareness programs.
Indirect (Annually):
- 400+ family members positively impacted.
- 30–40 employers adopting inclusive hiring practices.
