Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions govern your use of The i-Care Foundation’s website (all of its information, data, software, search engine and other material, collectively the ‘site’) and are legally binding on you. The i-Care Foundation consists of “The i-Care Foundation, Pakistan” and “The i-Care Fund America, Inc.”.
Your use of the site will be deemed to be your agreement to abide by the terms set forth below. If you do not agree with all of these terms, please do not access or otherwise use this site or any information contained on the site.
Furthermore, you may terminate this agreement at any time, for whatsoever reason, by written notice to us. Similarly, we can terminate your participation and this agreement at any time, for any reason, by written notice to you.
DONATIONS
By making a cash transaction through the site, you agree that you are making a donation to The i-Care Foundation, a registered trust in Pakistan with tax exemption status under Income Tax Ordinance 2001, and Income Tax Rules, 2002 or The i-Care Fund America, Inc, a 501 (c) (3) organization in the United States, if you are based in Pakistan or outside of Pakistan, respectively.
Donors are urged to consult their lawyers, accountants or tax advisors with respect to questions relating to the deductibility of various types of contributions to The i-Care Foundation for tax purposes.
The Foundation reserves the right to review and reject any contribution for any reason whatsoever. Any donation that is not accepted will be returned as soon as possible.
ADMINISTRATIVE FEE
The i-Care Foundation provides a platform for donations to charities, for which we charge a flat 5% administrative fee per donation, which is deducted from the donation amount. The site contains pages featuring partner charities to receive donations, but this is not intended to constitute a solicitation of donations in any way.
Further, any transaction fees associated with the payment instrument used to make the donation, depend on your financial institution/service provider and is borne by you. For schedule of charges pertaining to your payment instrument of your choice, please consult directly with your financial institution/service provider.
Donations made to The i-Care Foundation are irrevocable and cannot be returned.
CREATING AN ACCOUNT WITH US
While making a donation, you will be asked to provide certain information, including but not limited to, your name, basic contact information, payment (depending in the payment instrument) details, the expiration date of debit/credit card and billing address.
When creating an account with us, you must provide us with information that is complete, factual and current. Failure to do so will result in a breach of the terms and may result in immediate termination of your account from our platform. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any debit/credit cards or other payment methods in connection with any donation.
You agree to not share your login details or password with any third party and must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account with us.
Records of each contribution you make are kept by The i-Care Foundation. By providing us with this information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties such as partner charitable/non-profit organizations registered with our platform for purposes of facilitating the completion of your donation.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
The i-Care Foundation shall not be liable for any damages, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use the site or services or content provided from and through this site.
The website is supplied on an “as is” basis and has not been compiled to meet individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the user/donor to satisfy itself prior to entering into this agreement with The i-Care Foundation.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold The i-Care Foundation and its affiliates harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand made or incurred by any third party due to or arising (directly or indirectly) out of your use of the services and platform provided by the Foundation, or arising from your breach of any term or condition outlined in this agreement.
